Library and vault audits can be performed in a fraction of the time that manual methods require. Qwikscan alerts operators when tapes are misfiled. Exception reports are generated, identifying missing cartridges as well as cartridges placed in the wrong location. Qwikscan can also track foreign tapes entering and outcode tapes leaving your library. The comprehensive database enables the operator to know slot location; dates tapes are due out, to whom and where they are to go. In addition, packing slips, barcode labels, and statistical reports are system generated. This entire process works in reverse to track outgoing tapes.
